Blending custom optical styling with multi-wavelength digital control, Fiilex has officially introduced the Q500. This highly versatile 185W LED Fresnel combines the extensive feature set of top-tier full-color fixtures with the exceptional shaping performance of a traditional tungsten Fresnel, completely re-engineering what is possible for mid-sized studio and field productions.

The optical capability of the Q500 steps forward with the latest iteration of Fiilex’s proprietary Dense Matrix LED technology, which bundles high-density LED chips into a singular point-source. This custom array provides impeccable color accuracy, smooth color blending, and punchy, aberration-free beam control without the double shadows or color-splitting typical of multi-source panels.

Technical Features & Build:

• High-Output Performance: Produces an impressive 750W tungsten-equivalent beam while drawing a maximum of 185W. The fixture ensures completely flicker-free performance at any camera frame rate and dimming control from 100% down to 5%.
• Extended Color and Tint Tuning: Offers continuous CCT tuning from 2800K to 6500K with dedicated Hue Control adjustment of ±0.25 Magenta/Green, allowing shooters to match changing ambient environments or correct for specific camera sensor bias.
• Precision Specular Light Shaping: Equipped with a 5-inch glass Fresnel lens that provides a smooth, continuous spot-to-flood range of 27° to 50°. The fixture can also adapt an 8-inch Fresnel lens to drop the beam down to a tight 11° to 23° throw.
• Integrated DMX and Studio Controls: Features a bright back-panel LCD display for accurate setting adjustments alongside full DMX 512 addressability. The unit includes both 5-pin XLR and RJ45 data input/output ports for seamless remote operation from a control board.
• Advanced Vapor Cooling: Built with an advanced internal vapor-cooling thermal management system that delivers quiet solid-state operation and protects the fixture from overheating during long production cycles.
