The Fiilex Fiber Shutter Switch offers an efficient optical solution for shuttering fiber communication links in inactive meeting rooms or company network connections outside regular hours. Remotely being able to make or break network connectors using On/Off switches helps to keep valuable resources isolated against unwarranted traffic or connections. The Shutter Switch operates in two modes. When electrically powered on the switches permit the passage of network traffic. Once electrical power is removed, the switches disrupt the connection link, blocking the traffic flow.
