Fiilex Introduces K-Series LED Punch Lights

Fiilex has officially announced the launch of its highly anticipated K-Series punch lights, introducing the K40 COLOR, the motorized MOTOK40, and the compact K10 COLOR. Far surpassing the structural output of conventional LED panels without compromising optical purity, these heavy-duty fixtures deliver high-intensity throw, advanced color rendering, and modular lens customization to dominate demanding film sets and virtual production environments.

At the core of the K-Series is a multi-pixel expansion of Fiilex’s proprietary Dense Matrix LED technology. By grouping clusters of ultra-dense, full-spectrum LED chips into independent cells, these fixtures deliver uniform color blending, sharp shadow definition, and sequence pixel dimming capable of achieving over 20 stops of dynamic range.

K40 COLOR: Massive Array Punch Output

Built for high-demand locations, rigging grids, or Condor mounts, the K40 COLOR serves as the flagship high-output fixture of the line.

• Exceptional Power Scale: Emits a powerful 3600W of LED illumination while utilizing a flexible single (1500W) or dual (3600W) AC power input.
• Granular Pixel Customization: Features an array of 16 independent cells supporting individual pixel control, specialized lighting effects (such as fire or lightning), and sequence pixel dimming.
• Interchangeable Hard Lenses: Compatible with tool-less, field-swappable hard lenses (available in 12°, 18°, 30°, and 50° angles) that can be mixed and matched across the array to craft custom gradient, rake, or checkerboard illumination patterns.

MOTOK40: Power Combined with Automated Motion

Retaining the identical 3600W full-color engine and 16-cell pixel architecture of the K40, the specialized MOTOK40 integrates a heavy-duty motorized yoke.

• Precision Remote Automation: Offers 540° pan and 300° tilt functionality with 16-bit absolute encoding that reliably holds its position through power cycles.
• Unmanned Lift and Grid Deployment: Ideal for overhead studio grids or leaving unmanned on location lifts, allowing operators to safely manage pan, tilt, intensity, and effects remotely.

K10 COLOR: High Intensity in a Small Footprint

Designed for space-constrained rigs or travel crews requiring mobility, the smaller K10 COLOR brings the identical color science of its larger siblings into a compact chassis.

• Agile Rigging Footprint: Engineered to slip easily into tight spaces or complex matrix arrays without sacrificing output punch or spectral integrity.
• Consistent Multi-Lens Ecosystem: Utilizes the same tool-less interchangeable pixel lens system as the K40 family to easily alter beam throws and adapt to rapidly changing sets.

Calibrated Studio Infrastructure

All three K-Series fixtures feature a continuous color temperature tuning range from 2000K to 10000K with full green/magenta shift control and an elite color accuracy profile (TLCI/CRI 95+). The builds offer smooth 100% to 0% flicker-free dimming curves alongside robust studio data configurations, integrating full XLR-5 DMX/RDM, built-in wireless LumenRadio CRMX TimoTwo, and dual etherCON ports for sACN and ArtNet control. Backed by rugged water-resistant housings (IP-25 for K40/K10 and IP-X4 for MOTOK40), they are built to withstand extended outdoor exposure in inclement weather.
